Advantage Green Gully Cavaliers
The Green Gully Cavaliers have won their first finals fixture in five years, with a highly impressive 3-1 victory over Hume City at Epping Soccer Stadium. Brent Fisher was the hero of the night for the Cavaliers, scoring a brace and having a huge influence over the match for the majority of the game. A Steven Burton penalty minutes from fulltime, made certain of the result.

Congratulations to Joel Bistricki, on becoming the 2010 Green Gully Under 21 Player of the Year. Joel polled 57 votes, whilst in second place (for the 2nd year running) Andrew Pichner with 49 votes and third place Joshua Pugh on 46 votes.

Five Goal Gully Get Double Chance
A five goal blitz from the Green Gully Cavaliers secured third place for season 2010. It was the Melbourne Knights, relieved at having just survived one of the closest relegation battles in VPL history that let down their guard against a team itching for its first finals success in five years.
