Dean has had an extensive football career making his appearance in 1989 with South Melbourne and then playing on for the following clubs, Port Melbourne Sharks, Heidelberg United, Collingwood Warriors, Altona Magic, Gippsland Falcons and currently playing for Green Gully in the VPL. Dean has played 397 premier league matches since 1989, has won 6 Best & Fairest Awards and captained Victoria from 1995 to 2006. He has assisted the Junior coordinator in coaching the juniors from under 8’s to under 18’s. We are very excited about having Dean join the coaching staff at Football Star Academy in 2009.
